Mr. Dennis Collins

Mr. Collins was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, moved to Holmdel Township in 1972, and now resides in Manasquan, New Jersey. He graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in 1981, the University of Virginia in 1985 with a Major in International Relations, and Seton Hall University Law School in 1989. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1989 and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court in New Jersey.

In 1989 Mr. Collins became licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey. He joined the firm of Gagliano, Tucci, Iadanza and Reisner in Long Branch New Jersey. This Law Firm established its practice of law as Potter and Fisher at 495 Broadway, Long Branch, New Jersey, in the early 1930's. In 1965, the Firm name was changed to Potter and Gagliano, and in 1973 it became Gagliano, Tucci and Kennedy. On October 27, 1978, the Firm relocated to its offices to 1090 Broadway, West Long Branch, New Jersey. On January 1, 1995, the Firm became known as Tucci, Reisner, and Collins.

On February 1, 1997, the Firm became known as Tucci & Collins. On January 1, 2000, the Firm became Tucci, Collins & Vella, P.C. Mr. Collins left the firm in April of 2001 to establish his own firm. On April 1, 2004 a new firm was established with the addition of a partner, which was known as Collins and Vella, LLC.

He has represented the Borough of Monmouth Beach since 2002, the Eatontown Board of Education since 1992, the Town of Boonton Board of Education since 1999, and the Marlboro Township Planning Board since 1993. He formerly represented the Howell Township Planning Board, the Hazlet Township Planning Board, the Borough of Keansburg and the Hazlet Township Zoning Board of Adjustment. He has also represented the New Jersey American Water Company on statewide Land Use matters and the Monmouth County Joint Insurance Fund in defense litigation.
